Montclair State University has a variety of residential facilities available at both ends of campus. These facilities offer different living style options including traditional double-loaded corridors, suite-style arrangements, and apartment communities. Every residence hall has its own unique personality that's determined by the staff and residents who live there. Each residence facility is self-contained and has lounges, recreation areas, study rooms, and various services available. Students' rooms come with basic amenities such as beds, dressers, closets, desks, chairs, and draperies. They're encouraged to personalize their living space with items from home to make it feel like their own.
