University of Alabama Housing

The University of Alabama offers 17 different housing communities that can accommodate up to 9,000 residents. These communities offer a range of living options, including traditional, suite, and apartment-style floor plans, as well as Living-Learning Communities and Themed Housing. It's worth noting that Bryce Lawn and East Edge are generally reserved for upperclassmen, not freshmen. Students who live off-campus at a property with which UA has a master lease, such as East Edge, will need to complete the UA housing application instead of a lease with the property. All UA residence halls come with a 24/7 community desk and live-in staff, as well as individual contracts, utilities included, and convenient on-campus locations.
