The University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo (UH Hilo) is a public university in Hilo, Hawaiʻi. It is one of ten campuses of the University of Hawaiʻi System.

Campus housing caters to the diverse needs of single, married, and physically-challenged students through residence halls and apartments. To qualify for on-campus housing, students typically need to be enrolled in at least 12 credit hours (equivalent to four courses). All residence halls offer recreation lounges, television rooms, study spaces (except Hale ʻIkena), and laundry facilities. Students from UH Hilo and Hawaiʻi Community College have the option to apply to any of these halls.
