Faraday Hall is one of the nicest dorms on campus, rivaled only by East Hall in terms of amenities. The dorm offers spacious rooms with modern conveniences, including a full-sized kitchen and a pleasant bathroom setup with multiple sinks, showers, and toilets, minimizing waiting times for roommates. Though it's approximately a 10-minute walk from campus, many residents quickly acclimate to the distance, and the route offers scenic views of Institute Park. Faraday Hall is typically quiet and features entertainment facilities such as a pool table and tech suites. However, some rooms have been reported to experience HVAC issues due to wiring problems, and a few toilets broke during the year but were repaired promptly. While slightly more expensive, Faraday is an excellent choice for students transitioning from dorm to apartment living. It also includes a parking lot, which adds convenience for those with vehicles.
