Pro: - quad lets you meet people - private bathroom Con: - small living space - antisocial student population - bad A/C Cons definitely outweighed the pros in my case, but living in a quad is definitely a positive if you're at all introverted and want to be forced to make friends.

Houck has decent amenities (private bathroom, AC, kitchen), but the overall condition of the building and rooms made it subpar compared to the other dorms on campus. The room was WAYY too small for four people. The bathroom was okay, but gave me flashbacks of my high school bathrooms but in a private way. The entire dorm as a whole was disgusting, but at least there was AC.
