337 Huntington Ave is an older dormitory situated in a highly convenient location near the Northeastern train stop and Krentzman Quad, making it easy for students to get to classes in under 10 minutes. Despite its prime location, students have expressed mixed feelings about living here. The building features high ceilings and offers a variety of room configurations, including standard doubles with spacious living rooms and economy triples that tend to be more cramped. However, the kitchen spaces are consistently noted as small and insufficient, sometimes contributing to poor ventilation and unpleasant odors.

The lack of air conditioning often requires students to rent A/C units, and the building's age is evident, with occasional issues such as a janky elevator, temperature fluctuations in showers, and mold or air quality concerns. The dorm has a rat problem exacerbated if food is left out, and its cleaning equipment is subpar. There are issues with laundry facilities, including frequent floods and a non-accessible basement. On the brighter side, students appreciate the nice lounge and study areas, recently renovated bathrooms, and decent-sized rooms that allow for some level of privacy and personalization. Despite its flaws, 337 Huntington Ave offers affordable housing and a social living experience, with RAs providing engaging activities throughout the year.

At Northeastern, there are a variety of different housing accommodations for students. Most first years live at traditional/suite-style type apartments. As a second year, most students live in apartment style accommodations such as the West Villages, or Davenport Commons A/B. These apartments are much more spacious and typically have common rooms and a kitchen. Upperclassmen who live on campus will have the options of choosing from various leased properties which are apart of apartment style accommodations.
