Room is nice, just a standard sized double but the ceiling tiles are falling apart and the floor tiles can get gross easily. If you don't loft your bed there isn't a lot of space for your desk and dresser. The closet is just a divider from the rest of the room with a curtain rod (bring some form of curtain or shower curtain). Bathrooms are fairly nice with a separate changing area in the shower but there aren't that many sinks or toilets. Laundry room is always crowded and can take hours to do. The location is awful to walk back to since it is on a hill and can be tiring especially at nights. The dining hall is convenient but the food isn't that great and gets boring after a while. There aren't any water fountains that are open 24/7 so be m...

It might be a long walk into campus, but it's downhill and the views of Horsebarn Hill are nice if you get a room facing east. Towers dining hall is pretty good, too.

I honestly loved living in towers. It gets a bad rap but it’s a nice community with a great dining hall. The location kinda sucked for when you need to get anywhere on campus fast, but I really liked the dorm room. We got brand new furniture this year which was super nice. You get a desk, a 3 drawer dresser, and a little rolling nightstand thingy with 2 drawers. The rooms were actually pretty spacious (compared to places like North) with good sized closets and a big window. I also liked having the shelf inside the closet and the shelf attached to the outside of the closet which were super convenient for storage. The room will definitely be a lot more cramped if you don’t loft your bed. If you loft the bed and put your desk and dresser under...

Definitely hope for a corner room at the end of the hallway, they are biggest, but even still kinda small. Bathrooms are small and can be gross. Lounges are nice, some have large TVs. The location is pretty far, so good luck getting to class on time, but the busses come in clutch. Pretty safe building, plus have all the freshmen around you to meet new people. The laundry room is pretty small but gets the job done usually. Still better than North for dining hall, amenities, room size, and building quality.

Towers is completely fine. The buildings are nothing to write home about since they're older and unless you don't use your desk, you'll probably have to loft. In my building (Webster 310) we only had one functional shower, but that shower was awesome. For freshman year, it's a great place to be since you're surrounded by other freshmen, so it's a great place to meet people. Comparatively, the dining hall is good but can get swamped at times. The biggest downside is the location, since it's a decent walk uphill from campus. But after a few weeks, you get in shape and are used to it. Overall, pretty good place to be as a freshman.

As a freshman, this wasn’t a terrible place to live. Personally, the room I was in wasn’t so great. The ceiling seemed like it was going to cave in any second. Also, if you don’t loft your bed and you put your desk to the left of your bed instead, you’ll be unable to pull your desk out. It was the most annoying thing ever. In terms of location, towers isn’t the best because there’s a ton of stairs you have to climb and it’s a decent walk from the center of campus. But I would say the towers dining hall is one of the best. They have some amazing bars including stir fry, quesadilla, grilled cheese, and more. If you love food, towers might be the way to go. Of course there are other good dining halls on campus too.

The best part about Towers is the community. Being freshman only living, you can connect with a lot of people and feel included even on your first day at the school. I lived in a triple with only one other, which was nice and spacious, but the doubles were a bit cramped. As for as dorm quality, it's about the average dorm room. The only bad part about Towers is the location, as it is a hike from classes. It gets a bad rap for the walk, but other than that, it's a decent place to live and a great place to make friends!

As much as others may dislike Towers for the location, it was a great first dorm experience. The bathrooms were a good size, and I thought the shower space was pretty good too. I had a typical double and it was pretty much what I expected out of a dorm. I think Towers gets a bad rap, it's a great community for first year students!
