About BC Housing
Boston College offers housing options for its students, with first-year students residing in traditional-style rooms on two separate campuses. Sophomores participate in a room selection process where they can choose roommates and live in either apartment-style or traditional rooms, based on their assigned "pick time." Most students receive three years of guaranteed housing, with the option to live off-campus in their junior year, while seniors have the choice of living off-campus and are the first to choose housing during the selection process. Despite not being required to live on campus during their final year, over 90% of Boston College students choose to do so.
