Stanford's housing for undergraduates is divided amongst 8 neighborhoods, with suites, apartments, and row house options. Once assigned to housing during Freshmen year, the student must reside within that neighborhood unless they apply to be a Resident Assistant (RA) or to transfer neighborhoods. All undergraduates are guaranteed housing on-campus and can receive financial aid for up to 3 quarters (Fall, Winter, and Spring).
