"The dorm was nice overall, very clean, and convenient for freshmen. The kitchen is technically available but in a detached building right next door. The only complaint is that the elevator is super slow."

"Loved living in Campbell, right across the street from the cows which I thought I was going to hate because of the smell but honestly miss being able to pet them when I'm stressed out. Does not have a kitchen and some rooms have thermostats to control AC but most don't, the others that don't have central heating/cooling so you won't be burning in Davis heat or freezing during the rainy season. New building so the lounge area is really nice and lots of natural light"

"As one of the newest dorms on campus, Cottonwood Hall is a great place to live. The rooms are relatively big, the lounges have big glass windows for natural light, and the showers are spacious. The AC/heater works well and internet connection was great (at least in my room). It's also at a super convenient location since it's right across from the dining commons and also close to the visitor parking lot. The only complaints are that it is a bit far from the ARC compared to Segundo halls and the smell of the cows can be a bit strong sometimes."

"The elevator does break down sometimes but it’s very close to DC and science lecture halls."

"The building was very new and in great condition! Very aesthetically appealing. The walls aren't thin and the bathrooms were always pretty clean."
