If you're able to get into them, the yakʔitʸutʸu are easily the best freshman dorms to live in. You are decently close to a lot of necessities, such as the dining hall being 5 minutes away and the University Union being 10 minutes away, and the complex itself is very nice. There is a central lawn where people often play spikeball, and when the weather gets nicer it's a great place to read a book or work on your tan. The bathrooms are co-ed, with 4 showers and 4 stalls per bathroom, and usually two bathrooms per floor. It was built the most recently, so it has the nicest architectural layout and amenities. These tend to also be very social dorms, and it's easy to make friends here!
