The Yosemite dorms might be the worst on campus. They can be found at the front of campus across from yakʔitʸutʸu, but have a stark contrast to the building layout. The exteriors are made of concrete, and there is no elevator in the complex (which can make moving into /out of your dorm difficult if you are on a higher level!) Yosemite is also the closest to the front of campus, meaning that it is the farthest from the center of campus and may take longer to commute to classes.

During their first year at Cal Poly, all students are required to reside on campus in one of the residence halls that offer triple and quintuple rooms, with a limited number of double rooms available.
