La Plata Hall was a great living space during freshman year. I loved how it is so close to the North Campus Diner, and close to a bunch of other freshman dorms. The location of La Plata is convenient with the diner, gym, and football stadium only a 2-minute walk away. The AC/heating unit is adjustable within the rooms and the room is moderately sized. The room itself and the bathrooms are what you would expect from any dorm- aren't horrible.
The room I had was pretty cramped and didn't really feel comfortable for me personally. Perhaps other people may like it, but I prefer to have space for myself. I had a quad room but there were three of us.
