New York University
Alumni hall :)
For freshmen I would say Weinstein just bc its soooo convenient like it has two dining halls, a convenience store, and is the closest to the majority of NYU classes (and was sq park + a ton of restaurants)
I've heard palladium is the best, but it's super competitive. Gramercy is pretty, but it's a little further.
Palladium and Gramercy for sure. Palladium has a dining hall and gym, also super close to campus. Gramercy is just super clean and nice. A little further but really nice area
palladium is pretty good. Great location, kitchen inside each room, gym / dinning hall inside the building. It's kinda far from campus compared to lipton or other dorms but the neighborhood is nice by itself. Definitely recommended.

About NYU Housing
Living on campus is not mandatory, except for students studying away at NYU-NYC from NYU-Shanghai or NYU-Abu Dhabi. The majority of the rooms available for students are shared, with less than 3% being private. Tandon first year residents are assigned to Brooklyn residence halls, while Manhattan-based school first year residents are assigned to Manhattan residence halls with no exceptions. NYU dorms come in a few different styles: triple in unit or studio, double in unit and double in studio, with or without kitchen inside depends on the building. NYU also offers lower cost options for students, such as 3 people living in a double. On-campus living is not a requirement but most commonly first-year students would choose to live in dorms.
