Decent place, but would really only recommend if you have a group of people you want to live with. There's no AC, and if you're in the triple, you're sharing 1 shower and 1 bathroom with 5 other people. The nice things are that you have a living room, and it has extra closet space too. The lounge is also pretty big, and I feel like the RAs try to have events together so that you can meet people, even tho Saxon is pretty socially dead.

Saxon Suites have two bedrooms, living room, private bathroom and shower. It was nice having a living room because you can work there and have friends over for movies and parties. I lived with 3 others so it was really relaxed we always had enough space and it was comfortable. I wish the sinks were bigger because they are really low and it can be annoying to use. I also kind of didn’t like the arrangement of my room one closet was so close to the desk that you have to squeeze to get by and the other closet is close to the door so if someone is using the closet the other can’t go out. So that was a con but otherwise i’d recommend!

Saxon is a fun place to live if you know all of your roommates. As a first year, you're living with potentially 5 other strangers and it makes or breaks your experience. Aside from that, it's a decently nice place to live with a nice communal lounge. Having a living room and extra closet space are great benefits. Better suite dorm imo since it's not as far up the hill and it's pretty close to Gayley/off campus apartments.

Additionally, Saxon has bad lighting especially for the living room. So that was a con but otherwise i’d recommend!

Saxon had a good spot and a call water fountain outside. A great study spot in the middle. But can be super crowded when everyone is here. One shower and restroom for 4 people is dirty work, but lucky for me I only had 2 other people in a 4 person. The worst thing about this place is the no ac in the summer l.

Saxon is very nice and definitely the better choice between the suites in my opinion. It feels like mini apartments and has one of the most modern looking designs. The lounge is great for inviting friends over. It is very peaceful and spacious, and not to far from the rest of the hill. The cons are mainly that the bathrooms are a little smaller than you might expect and there is no AC. There also doesn’t seem to be an elevator anywhere for the actual rooms so just know that if you’re choosing between the ground floor and the top ones.

Overall Saxon is definitely one of the better campus dorms. Noise-wise it’s very peaceful and quiet. The living room area is probably the best feature of this dorm since you can crash on the couch, make a small study spot out of the table, or set up a tv to have watch parties . Access to the rooms in Saxon commons is also a plus. Would say the only drawbacks are that there is no a/c(just a fan) and that the bathroom/shower area are pretty small.
